Dr. Lisa Minton is a board-certified general surgeon with over 13 years of experience, specializing in breast care for both women and men. She is dedicated to not only providing quality care, but also educating her patients about cancer prevention through healthy living! In fact, she routinely lectures on the importance of good health in the fight against cancer.

As a general surgeon, Dr. Minton relies on her clinical expertise in the most current techniques with an emphasis on Breast Surgery, as well as the other general surgery. Most procedures are performed minimally invasively, benefiting patients with faster recovery times, less post-surgical pain, and little or no scar tissue.

Dr. Minton’s office is located in the Medical Plaza adjacent to Florida Hospital Altamonte. She performs the majority of her outpatient and inpatient surgeries at Florida Hospital Altamonte – taking full advantage of the hospital’s new state-of-the art surgical suites.  Additionally, as part of Florida Physicians Medical Group, Dr. Minton is supported by a practice management group that employs more than 100 physicians in more than 20 medical specialties, as well as more than 45 mid-level providers (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants).
